π’ General Questions
What is MyHR Nest?
MyHR Nest is Myanmar's first all-in-one HR and payroll platform. It combines 22 HR modules β employee management, payroll (SSB + income tax), GPS attendance, leave management, recruitment, and AI features β into one system. It is built specifically for Myanmar businesses and Myanmar payroll law.
Is MyHR Nest really free?
Yes. The Free (Starter) plan is permanently free for companies with up to 10 employees. No credit card required. No time limit. You get 8 core modules including payroll, GPS attendance, and leave management. You only pay if you want to add more than 10 employees or access advanced features (Growth plan: 9,900 MMK/month).
Is my data safe? Who can see my company's payroll data?
Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. Only users within your company (with login credentials you create) can access your data. MyHR Nest staff do not access your payroll data unless you ask for technical support. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Does MyHR Nest work on mobile phones?
Yes. MyHR Nest works on any modern smartphone browser β Android or iPhone. Go to app.myhrnest.com on your phone. GPS attendance clock-in uses your phone's location. A dedicated mobile app is in development.
In what language is MyHR Nest available?
The app interface is currently in English. All payslips can include Myanmar Kyat (MMK) amounts. Myanmar language support in the interface is coming in a future update. This help center has Myanmar language sections in every article.

How many employees can I add?

Can I import employees from Excel?
Yes. Go to People β Employees β Import. Download the Excel template, fill in your employee data, and upload. The system supports bulk import of name, position, department, salary, NRC, SSB number, and bank account.
What happens to my data if I stop using MyHR Nest?
Your data remains in the system. If you want to export your data before leaving, contact support@myhrnest.com and we will provide a full data export in Excel format.
Can I have multiple branches or locations?
Multi-branch support is available on the Enterprise plan. Each branch can have its own GPS geofence, attendance rules, and department structure. Contact us for Enterprise pricing.
π° Payroll Questions
Does MyHR Nest automatically calculate SSB?
Yes. MyHR Nest automatically calculates Social Security Board (SSB) contributions on every payroll run:
- Employee contribution: 2% of basic salary
- Employer contribution: 3% of basic salary
Both amounts appear on each employee's payslip. The employer contribution is tracked separately for SSB reporting purposes.
Does it calculate Myanmar income tax correctly?
Yes. The system applies Myanmar's 6-band progressive income tax structure automatically. Tax is calculated on the annual salary basis and deducted monthly. The bands are: 0% (up to 4.8M MMK), 5% (4.8β10M), 10% (10β20M), 15% (20β30M), 20% (30β50M), 25% (above 50M).
Can I run payroll for a partial month (new hire, resignation)?
Yes. When an employee joins or leaves mid-month, you can set their start or end date and the system will pro-rate their salary for that month based on working days.
Can employees see their payslip?
Yes. After you run and finalize payroll, each employee can log in and view their payslip at Payroll β My Payslips. They can also download it as a PDF.
π Attendance Questions
What if an employee cannot clock in because they're outside the GPS zone?
If an employee is working from home, at a client site, or travelling β you can manually record their attendance. Go to Attendance β Attendance β Edit and mark them as Present for that day. Always document the reason.
What radius should I set for the GPS geofence?
- Single-floor office in a building: 50β100 meters
- Large compound or factory: 200β300 meters
- Multiple buildings on one campus: Set per building or use a larger radius covering all buildings
If employees report they cannot clock in from inside the office, increase the radius slightly.
Does GPS attendance work without internet?
No. The employee's phone needs an internet connection (WiFi or mobile data) and GPS to be enabled for clock-in to work.
π Leave Questions
Can I customize leave types and day amounts?
Yes. Go to Attendance β Leave Types. You can edit the default leave types (annual, sick, emergency, maternity) and change the day amounts to match your company's leave policy.
Do unused leave days carry over to next year?
This depends on your company's leave policy, which you configure in MyHR Nest. The system supports carry-forward, forfeiture, and cash payout options.
π€ AI Features Questions
Do I have to pay extra for AI features?
No. All AI features β Daily Briefing, Payroll Review, Attendance Insights, Leave Analysis, CV Scoring β are included on every plan, including the Free plan. There is no AI add-on fee.
Is AI Payroll Review replacing the HR manager's job?
No. AI Payroll Review is a checker β it flags potential errors for the HR manager to review and decide on. All final decisions are made by your HR team. The AI cannot finalize or modify payroll β only you can do that.
π³ Billing Questions
How do I pay for the Growth plan?
Payment is accepted via KPay, Wave Money, or bank transfer (KBZ/CB Bank). Contact support@myhrnest.com to upgrade and receive payment details. There are no annual contracts β you pay monthly.
Can I downgrade from Growth back to Free?
Yes. Contact support to downgrade. Note: if you have more than 10 employees, you will not be able to add new employees on the Free plan until your employee count is 10 or below. Existing data is never deleted.
